Skip Energy Drinks and Spare Your Pearly Whites

The following is from the Consumer Reports on Health Newsletter . . .

The high acidity of energy and sports drinks can cause serious tooth damage if they’re consumed frequently, according to a recent study of 22 such drinks.  Energy beverages such as Red Bull Sugar Free and Rockstar were especially acidic.  Rinsing with water or chewing sugarless gum after drinking them may mitigate some of the damage, experts say.
